EA App Breaking

I have been using the EA app and constantly come across it breaking. Everytime my internet get's shut off unexpectedly, or my computer get's updated the app just breaks. I can no longer click the short cut and says it cannot be found. I have to then go to the EA website to reistall it, it tells me it's still installed even though I can't open it, and then I have to repair it.
