EA app can't connect online?

Me and my friends are trying to play SWB2 and we can't add each other because all of our launchers refuse to connect online. Server's say they're up but we still can't access our friend lists? Restar...

Dealing with the same issues, why is this issue marked as resolved in other forums when that is not the case?
