can't buy any subscription nor buy any game

Hi,

 

for more than 2 months now, I try to renew my EA play pro sub and buy some game. Nothing works.

I have already done 2 report bug file. Never had any answer about it.

I tried paypal, I tried klarna.... guy come on... You should at least get back to the customer to tell him what's the problem. Actually there is no problem on my end since even paypal inform me that an order has been placed on my account of x euros from your server....

    Are we going to be compensated for not being able to use the christmas and end of the year sale OR WHAT? 

    WHAT THE **bleep** is going on over there? Are you all based in Ireland wit ha team of 3 people like Paypal or what?

    I understand why you’re upset. Not being able to renew a subscription or make a purchase for this long, and not getting a clear response, is understandably frustrating.

    I do need to clarify one key point, though: these forums are not a direct line to Customer Support. We don’t have access to billing systems, payment reviews, or account tools here. Issues like this can only be investigated through EA Help, which is why posting here won’t get the problem fixed on its own.

    Regarding the situation itself:
    If payments are failing across multiple providers, it means the transaction isn’t completing on our side; however, determining the reason requires an account-level review. That’s not something forum moderators or community members can see or take action on.

    What you need to do next:

    1. Go to https://help.ea.com
    2. Choose Account & Billing → Purchase Issues → Can’t complete purchase
    3. Use live chat if it’s available -- that’s the fastest way to reach a team that can actually investigate this.

    When you contact EA Help, keep it simple and factual:

    • The issue has been ongoing for over 2 months
    • You can’t renew EA Play Pro or buy games
    • You’ve tried multiple payment methods
    • You’ve already submitted reports without resolution

    I know this hasn’t been a good experience, but the fastest way forward is getting the right team involved directly. Once you’ve contacted EA Help, that’s where real progress can happen.

  • Thank you for finally give us some clarification on the matter. 

    Just that it has been a bit late since I missed 160 euros of reduction on my purchases because of it.... just saying..

    I hope that the customer support will have then the decency to actually give me something in return.

  • Also the subsection you are describing does not exist in your new version of the website. You should at least check the validity of your documentation. 

    Do you see anything resembling even remotely to what you were describing? Because I do not. 

    I had to do a search and then ask for problem with purchase and select a random game to be able to file a ticket just now 

  • there is not even the live chat option on your website.

    The option chat with us is only appearing when you file already a ticket actually... so maybe an up to date documentation of your internal system is required don't you think?
