EA App crashing and not showing friends list
I am having a problem with EA App and friends list. This has been going on for about 2 weeks since recent updates. It is similar to what others have reported but has supposedly been solved for some people but not everyone. In summary, one of three problems happen when I try to use EA app:
- App works abut friends list is invisible in EA app and in in-game overlay and in games (Battlefield 5) I can't see my friends, join their squad or accept squad invites.
- App works fleetingly but then crashes with something like "we are encountering a particularly stubborn issue, need to restart".
- App just fails to load (I get EA logo and black loading box) and I have to reboot my computer. Restarting app, rebooting PC, reinstalling app and reinstalling all my games has not solved the above issues and they keep recurring.
