EA App Error EC:106 on macOS (Unable to launch app after entering password)
Hi there, I’m experiencing an issue with the EA App on my Mac. Every time I try to open the EA App, I am prompted to enter my Mac’s password, as it tries to make changes. After entering the password, the EA App shows error EC:106 and fails to launch. Here’s what I have tried so far:
- Reinstalled the EA App multiple times.
- Deleted the related files in ~/Library/Application Support/EA Desktop.
- Attempted to run EA Updater from the terminal.
- Cleared system cache and preferences.
- Tried multiple troubleshooting steps suggested by EA support (including creating a new user account and clearing configuration files).
Despite all this, I keep getting the same error and the EA App is still not working.
Has anyone encountered this issue before or found a way to fix it?
