EA APP is crashing my Jedi game - This is anti consumer
As the title says, whenever I'm playing Jedi Survivor, which already has issues of it's own because it's an unfinished product that has to rely on mods for performance improvements and also to use premium DLC content that I paid for, the EA APP that I'm being forced to use for a single player game for some reason further contributes to my frustration.
All was well with Origin until you EA forced us to use the EA app, and now have even more issues with the games we purchased on other platforms.
As soon as I launch the game, I can see the memory usage and CPU spikes increase for no reason. My game starts to lag and stutter. When I quit the game, the game does NOT close, I need to go into Steam Library and force stop - this is because of your poorly programmed EA APP, issue I did not have with Origin.
I bought the game on Steam, not on your platform and I will never buy a game on your platform since all my library is on Steam, which is light years ahead of you in customer support, library management, launcher capabilities, sync capabilities, update and saves management - You simply cannot compete.
Now, I know you could not give a rat's a** about your users, but could you at least get out of the way and let us play our *&^%$^% games???!!!!
I paid for a genuine copy of a game that forces me to use your unoptimized, resource consuming and stress inducing launcher that contributes NOTHING to my experience other than frustration and anger towards you.
Could you please remove yourselves from the equation and let us enjoy our games?
Have you learned nothing from the fact that either you or Epic or Ubisoft or Rockstar simply cannot compete and are just nuisances to consumers? Do you think we want a different launcher from you or any other publisher just because you want feel relevant?
What happens should You or any other publisher go extinct and your launcher is no longer around? Us consumers lose the content that we paid for?
Has anyone from upper management been made aware of the complaints that these forums are full of?
Would you even care to try and do better? Can you get this up to someone that actually has any power and will to change?
I don't usually out of my way to post stuff like this, but You have brought me to the point of desperation.
Honestly, a very disappointed and customer (not by choice) of yours.
