Re: Sims 4 - Packs missing from EA app

Hello! I’m writing this one my phone so I’m sorry for any errors, 

about a week ago I was trying to get the EA app to load up and it just kept reloading and reloading and reloading until finally I reset my laptop loaded it back up and it worked but when it started working I had noticed that my name on EA not just the display / nickname was changed to a bunch of numbers and letter? And I had to go back into my account and fix it. Well I loaded up the thing for the sims in my library and instead of the huge amount of hours Iv put into this game it said I had only played for 1 hour and 30 minutes and Iv had this account since 2016.

I loaded the game up and tried to play a new household and it kept telling me that they’re were files missing ? And that if I saved there would be no way to get them back so I closed the game and went to looking and all and I mean all of the Expansion packs, Game packs, stuff packs everything that I owned is just gone and it wants me to buy them back if anything at all, Iv repaired the game and I don’t know what else to do so if there is any thing I can do please let me know I’d really love to get my things back :(

    "when it started working I had noticed that my name on EA not just the display / nickname was changed to a bunch of numbers and letter" - this sounds like a new/different EA account, which would explain why it doesn't own any of your packs. Try logging out of the new one and then log back into your original account.

    It’s not a new account tho, like I said Iv had it since 2016 it even says so when I went in to change my name. And it has my past sims saves

    Your saves are not attached to your account, but rather are saved locally on your computer and so will show on that device no matter what account you log in as. If you're not seeing any of your previous purchased content - the packs - and they're not in your order history, then it sounds like the app is currently logged into the wrong account. Please try the solution pinned in this thread.
