EA App will not let me play any games

Hi,

After launching any game in the app, the game crashes without warning. The games I have include The Sims 4, Mass Effect, SimCity, Command & Conquer etc.

I have tried to reinstall the app, reinstall all games and DLCs, repairing all games via the app, clearing cache. My computer is updated and running well within the minimum requirements on Windows, so I'm really stuck in figuring out why it won't let me play.

It's really too bad Origin is no longer available as it ran the games well on the same computer.
