Re: Will the EA app have a Linux version available?

TO ADMIN: DO NOT THROW THIS POST AS A COMMENT UNDER A 5 YEAR OLD THREAD THAT YOU DECIDED TO BURY!

What kind of customer service behaviour is that even? I require you to quit that crap IMMEDIATELY. I'm a PAYING CUSTOMER and I'm completely unable to play specifically EA games in the last few days, this requires your attention and not some half assed attempt at burying our questions in a dead thread!!

As mentioned in my past post on this matter, there's apparently been and update in the last few days since neither Fe nor Jedi Fallen Order is at all launchable. I would like to know if anyone is working on this issue in any way?

Same issue. I play Sims 4 on my Steam Deck and it was fine on Thursday and as of yesterday my game does not launch at all. EA APP never even pops up when launching.

I have paid too much money for these games to NOT WORK!!! It is also my day off and -12 outside, I just want to play my game

    Had the same problem.
Got it working again by replacing the bundled EAappinstaller on steam by the EAappinstaller.exe from the EA website. You now only have to make sure you are online (as this is an online EA app installer).

I followed to this guide for "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" which also works for the Sims 4, but skip the last part (play without the EA app):
