cisquared212 This has been resolved now. I followed the steps posted by an EA Community Manager and online mode is now working again. See link below.

Have you tried uninstalling the EA App and reinstalling the updated version?
That is how EA say to do it.
I also deleted the accountDataDB.pkg file from the Sims 4 folder in documents on my PC.
