EA app displaying wrong currency charging me more!
My region is set to the United States, but after updating, my currency started appearing in Euros. I was just charged $19 for what should have been a $16 transaction. I contacted support through chat, but they did nothing to resolve it. Why are customers being overcharged like this? Fix it.
New Tahoe Mac Update
Recently i updated my mac and i haven’t ran EA in months. So im on break from school and decided to open it to play. For some reason everytime i open/launch the EA app it tells me that there’s a “background service crashed” notification after minutes of the app trying to open. I asked chatgpt how to fix this issue and they gave me every way possible to fix it but no fix. So at the end when nothing worked chatgpt told me there was an issue with the new Mac update and the EA app. So i go around every platform to see if other users are having this issue and i can’t find anything from less than a year ago. I’m very frustrated and just wanted to play sims again but after hours of trying to fix it i can’t open the application AT ALL and now i need some help or at least i want to know im not the only one.
Updates as slow as snails
I'm sorry but this is not an issue with my PC or my internet connection. I run full gigabit internet, I have a network card capable of handling those speeds. Yet, when I come to the EA app everything runs like it's stuck in molasses. Updates run so slow I feel like I'm trying to download a movie in 1997 on dial-up internet again. No other launcher does this, or has this problem at all. Then even worse when it goes to verify the files of the game after download to make sure nothing broke. It's going even slower and I know for a fact the drive I'm saving it too can read and verify files way faster than 1GB/minute. I'm sorry but what is wrong with this company? They had issues with Apex servers lagging out and other issues. I've seen people having download speed issues dated back months, and even longer. What is going on? Also, I have done ALL of the "having trouble with downloads?" troubleshooting steps I could find. It changes nothing. So can somebody like investigate this on the company end or will I just end up like so many others in more recent times... unanswered and left out in the cold? Because I'm sure there are many people who don't play any EA games or titles or have played once and never come back again because of this and many other issues.Can´t approve changes
I haven´t logged into my ea account for a long time and my old email address that was linked to my ea account isn´t still in use. Now I want to log into my account but I have to approve changes before and can´t get into the app without doing so and I need the email that I don´t have anymore. What do I do about that? I´m talking about this belowSims 4 EA app repairs but won't go away
I have the sims 4 with no mods and I clicked manage > repair and the game went through the repair process and I was able to load and play the sims. However, when I went back to the sims 4 screen, the manage button was still there and so was the option to repair. I've since repaired my game at least 5 times and the option does not go away. In addition to that all my STUFF packs won't load that I've been playing with for years. Someone please suggest a fix please :)
Can’t uninstall Battlefield 6 Single Player and HD Texture Pack on EA App
Hey everyone, I’m having an issue with the EA App when trying to uninstall Battlefield 6 Single Player and Battlefield 6 Single Player HD Textures. Here’s what happens: I open the game’s Manage Add-ons section. I deselect both Single Player (17 GB) and Single Player HD Textures (8 GB). Then I press Update Install, but nothing happens — the app doesn’t uninstall them, and no storage space is freed. I already tried restarting the app, repairing the game, and even rebooting my PC, but the issue remains. It just refuses to remove those two components. Can someone from EA please check this out? Or if anyone has found a fix, I’d really appreciate your help. Thanks.
