MacOS 26.1 Unable to update
I'm playing on my macOS Tahoe 26.1, and the game was working fine before. But today, when I launched the game, it asked for an update, but the update kept failing. It displayed an error message: "Access denied at /Users/Cora/Downloads/The Sims4.app/Contents/CodeResourses_DiP_Staged, unable to update the game." However, there are no folders under "The Sims4 app" in my folders that I can open! >< I haven't enabled any antivirus software, and I've restarted my computer, but why can't I update or play? I knew there was an update a few days ago, but it wasn't showing up for me, so I decided not to worry about it. Today it finally appeared, but for some reason, it won't let me update. I tap the button, and it loads, but after supposedly "updating," it keeps asking me to update, and I don't understand why. I even get a notification saying the game is ready, but as soon as I tap "enter," it goes back to the update process. I've already tried clearing the cache, restarting the app, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but nothing works. The game is The Sims 4. Hoy finalmente me apareció pero por alguna razón no me deja actualizar, le doy al botón y carga pero después de supuestamente ''actualizarse'' me sigue pidiendo que actualice y no entiendo por qué ya que incluso me llega una notificación diciendo que el juego está listo pero apenas le doy a entrar vuelve a su proceso de actualización. Ya intenté borrando el caché, reiniciar la app e incluso desinstalar e instalar nuevamente el juego pero nada funciona. When I launched my game it says 1.120.140.1020 Dx11. Is that the most up to date build after the recent update? I didn't notice my game saying it was updating or downloading anything so I wanted to check. Seems to be running fine. I didn't realize until today that there was supposed to have been an update? Normally, if an update is ready to be installed, it automatically tells me so as soon as I open the EA app (PC). I can't even play the game until the update is installed, which is honestly fine. However, I have not had that happen since the supposed recent update on Jan 6. No notifications whatsoever. It doesn't seem like the new content is in my game, so I don't think it secretly downloaded it behind my back or something. I don't know why it's not showing up, and I can't find any other way to get it.SolvedHelp...
Hello, I wanted to buy a bundle Death and Life, Vampires and Laundry day, but everytime when i go to payment, enter my info and everything and to just click on pay, the app crashes and says that there was an error, and now I cant buy anything, I tried to buy only Death and Life, but it still does the same thing. Hey everyone, I’m having an issue with the EA App when trying to uninstall Battlefield 6 Single Player and Battlefield 6 Single Player HD Textures. Here’s what happens: I open the game’s Manage Add-ons section. I deselect both Single Player (17 GB) and Single Player HD Textures (8 GB). Then I press Update Install, but nothing happens — the app doesn’t uninstall them, and no storage space is freed. I already tried restarting the app, repairing the game, and even rebooting my PC, but the issue remains. It just refuses to remove those two components. Can someone from EA please check this out?
