Sims 4 Packs Not Recognized Since Latest EA App Update
Since the latest update of The Sims 4 on EA App, none of my official packs (expansions and stuff packs) are recognized in the game. I have already: cleared the game and app cache repaired the game fully reinstalled the game removed all mods (disabled them AND finally deleted them) renamed the game folder to have a clean start Nothing works, even though the packs worked perfectly before the update (last played 18 August 2025). I’ve attached some files, including the main menu of the game, my EA App, and screenshots of some of my purchases. I haven’t attached everything because it represents 10 years of purchases. I’m looking for a solution to reactivate my packs and restore the game to normal. The online help assistance, could not manage to help. And did not found any of my games linked to my account. It's 1500 euros disappearing right in front of my eyes. So please need help asap11Views0likes0CommentsMy game won't repair
Okey. I am playing sims on an external hard drive, and i have been doing that for a long time. Today it automatically started to repair the game, but it stops at 50% and says that download has failed because the path i have selected is a "read only" which its not... I have it on "read and write" and i have tried EVERYTHING. I also just played on this a couple of days ago. What should i do? Cause it wont let me play until it's repaired.... And i want to try without all my save files gone.Error Code: EC:204 (can't play offline, says "game license has expired")
Whenever EA puts out a game update, I don't update immediately and switch to playing offline for a week or more (depending on how bad it is) while I wait for mods to be updated and for the worst of the new bugs and glitches to be resolved. I've done this since the EA App was released without issue. So the EA App updated shortly before the 7/23 game update and when I went to play offline last night, I discovered I suddenly couldn't. I click on "go offline" and it shows Sims 4 as an installed game, but now when I click play, instead of launching the game offline as usual, I'm getting an error message telling me that the game license has expired and that I need to launch the game to renew the license and gives the Error Code: EC:204. I've never had this issue before. So now I cannot play the game at all as I've seen how lit it is out on the bug report forum and there's no way I'm updating my game right now with all the issues the patch has created. And I can't go "online" with the game without it automatically pushing the update. Is anyone else having this issue with playing offline right now? And is anyone aware of a work around? (Note: I have already logged out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, cleared the cache, restarted my PC, and ensured by XBox and EA accounts aren't linked (they never were).)4.9KViews18likes25CommentsEA App Capped Download Speeds
So typical gig up gig down internet. Zero issues on any other download platform. Noticed immediately that EA App has capped download speeds to under 10MB which is insane... There is no longer a selector for the limit speeds like there was before just a box to type a number. Tried clearing the cache, restarting the app, and every other quick fix under the sun and nothing. Still just sits capped. Steam and every other platform has no issues. Even when you click the sick little get help button to the right of the Download it takes you to a 404 page.. Nice guys.22Views0likes0CommentsSims 4 update is taking more than 3 hours.
The game automatically began updating at around 12pm, it's currently 15:15 and it's on 5%. my PC is around 5 years old, and the game hasn't been running the best recently. But it surely shouldn't take this long? can anyone recommend some tips to improve? my PC is right next to my wifi router thanks guyssssUnable to update game
Every time I try to update my Sims 4 game, it won't let me do it. It keeps saying there's an error and that it won't download. I have tried going offline to see if I can access the Sims 4 from there, but even when I click the play button, it won't open. I am able to open my Sims 3 game offline however. Sometimes my EA app will open, but if I quit and open it again, it says it cannot connect to servers and I have to restart my mac if I want to open the EA app again. Anyone got any ideas about how to play or update my game?Update stuck on 99%
I just tried to update my game after like a year of not playing, it took like 6-7 hours to get to this point and it's just been stuck on 99% for the past maybe 2-3 hours now. I haven't tried anything yet to help it because i'm afraid it'll have to restart the update but if I need to do that I suppose I will. The last time I played was March 2024 but I opened it earlier today with no internet and played for about 30 minutes it was working fine. I'm not sure what to do plz helppppp. It won't even let me pause or cancel the update if I wanted to I don't think. the buttons aren't pressable.29Views0likes2CommentsNot able to update EAFC25 through EA App
I have been trying to update my FC25 game but the update does not start and I get the message of "there's a problem with your download". Its been annoying that I already run the app recovery and I cannot re-install the app again becasuse the ea app won't download via your website. It gets timed out. Please suggest what to do.19Views0likes0Comments
