CAN'T LAUNCH ANYTHING ON EA APP
I can't launch any game on EA App, doesn't matter if I launch it on Steam or EA App, older titles like FIFA 12, 13, and 14 can't even launch from EA App, I couldn't even launch BF3, BF4 from steam, all I got are these endless "Launching Game...." windows but nothing happened afterward972Views1like32CommentsBattlefield 1 and FIFA 18 disappeared from my EA Library
Hello EA Support and Community, I have an issue with my EA account. Two games that I previously owned, Battlefield 1 and FIFA 18, have disappeared from my EA Library. I purchased and played both games on this EA account before, but they are no longer showing in my game library. Could someone please help me check what happened to these games and restore them to my EA account? Games missing: Battlefield 1 FIFA 18 I am using the same EA account that I originally used to purchase and play these games. Thank you for your help.SolvedTime Played Rest to Zero since the Update
Since the recent update, my playtime hours have been reset to 0. I had my game offline and not set to update automatically, but the EA App kept forcing the issue, which I kept rejecting. Then, on Thursday, I updated my game. It did not recognise all the packs I had, and I had to re-download them. I cleared the EA App cache and re-downloaded all the DLC's. From there, I noticed that my played hours had been reset. I thought it might need 'time' to register the hours from my profile, so I continued to play, hoping this would be rectified. To date, this has not happened. I went from over 18000 hours to 5 hours (which is the time I was streaming The Sims 4) and as of today, 24 hours played only. I'm attaching screenshots of my hours in February 2026 (I don't normally take a screenshot - didn't know how important that was going to be!), but I found one from the 27th of February 2026 showing that I had 17005 hrs and 26 minutes played. I want my hours back, please. How do I do this? It cannot be possible that this happens!301Views3likes10CommentsPC_inst-3-1920 Error - EA APP unable to update and install
I´m really getting annoyed by the continous EA App and Patch Errors this company delivers. I´ve never had problems in the last 25 Years with any of the other companies apps - Steam, Ubi, Epic etc., only EA is taking me whole weekends and weeks to fix the bugs. The start of BF6 and the patch afterwards have been a desaster. Setup: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-Core Processor (4.30 GHz), 64GB Ram, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 (16 GB), Windows 11 Pro I´m experiencing this now for over a week, first the app popped up upon launching the computer and told me, that the update doesn´t work. One time the app loaded, I purchased the new bf6 pro season and played. Yesterday nothing worked for me. I´ve been trying several things now, to get this up and running. tryed to repair the app - didn´t work deinstalled the app and swiped the leftover files and tried to install new - didn´t work putting the app in the ms defender preventing problems with the firewall - nothing happened clearing the cache with the EA Tool loading the eabackroundservice manually trying the EAUpdater starting the Programs with admin following all this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0Uz-4TWra0&t=254s installed the newest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable I took an image from 18.07.26, which I made and I tried this 2 times to get the app working again - nothing. I don´t know, what to do now. Hoping the next patch will fix all of this and not playing? wow...Ea app won’t load
So after several attempts and restarts of my Mac computer, my EA app will not load. The computer is hooked up to the Internet. I click on the EA app. I do have the EA app helper thing installed as well but EA app is just a black window. once I did get a little white wheel that said it needed to connect to the Internet, it connected and then it just went black again If I go to force close the EA app, it doesn’t say that it’s not responsive, but it’s just black. I have not updated my game to this latest patch. I was actually starting it today so I could. I don’t have any mods and for cc I have one set of eyebrows installed and those aren’t new.40Views2likes0CommentsSWGOH PC client connection error after EA App update
Hi. I have a critical problem connecting to the game through the EA App on PC. Previously, everything worked, and I could switch between my accounts. I used to click the game shortcut directly without waiting for the EA App to fully load, and it synced my profile in the background. Now, after the recent EA App update, the launcher itself loads perfectly, but the game won't start. It gives a connection error and says there is no internet, even though my internet works fine. The game downloads and reinstalls without issues, but it refuses to launch. No network fixes help. Because of this EA App bug, I cannot play and am losing my progress in the current events. Will this be fixed soon, and will there be any compensation? Please help.Error Code: EC:204 (can't play offline, says "game license has expired")
Whenever EA puts out a game update, I don't update immediately and switch to playing offline for a week or more (depending on how bad it is) while I wait for mods to be updated and for the worst of the new bugs and glitches to be resolved. I've done this since the EA App was released without issue. So the EA App updated shortly before the 7/23 game update and when I went to play offline last night, I discovered I suddenly couldn't. I click on "go offline" and it shows Sims 4 as an installed game, but now when I click play, instead of launching the game offline as usual, I'm getting an error message telling me that the game license has expired and that I need to launch the game to renew the license and gives the Error Code: EC:204. I've never had this issue before. So now I cannot play the game at all as I've seen how lit it is out on the bug report forum and there's no way I'm updating my game right now with all the issues the patch has created. And I can't go "online" with the game without it automatically pushing the update. Is anyone else having this issue with playing offline right now? And is anyone aware of a work around? (Note: I have already logged out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, cleared the cache, restarted my PC, and ensured by XBox and EA accounts aren't linked (they never were).)9.4KViews21likes38CommentsFirewall and Symbolic link
The app creates a new folder with a version number every time when it updates. The app creates a symbolic link folder: EA Desktop. Windows Firewall ignores rules for symbolic links. The EA app start showing: Unable to connect to the Internet. Do not tell me to turn off the firewall. All other programs update correctly. Stop using symbolic links. A program must ber in one folder.Solved71Views2likes4CommentsApp is faulty, unreliable & keeps players from launching games
I’m kicked out of the app every time time even though I always select to keep me logged in. Even with high speed Internet there’s constant issues connecting to the servers or updating in less than three hours. Half the time the app doesn’t even open correctly and I have to use the repair system which by all appearances just redownloads the app that’s already taking up way too much space for something that serves no purpose other than launching a pre purchased game. Not to mention ea forces you to use this extremely faulty app to open up any of those games even though they open them up independently when origin still existed. How has all this time past since they shut down origin and still no actual effort has been made to make the platform even the slightest bit reliable for people who never wanted to be your customers to begin with. If there was a way to disconnect the games that I purchased years ago from this terrible platform I wouldn’t a heartbeat.Solved
