Error Code: EC:10005

I installed the EA App and tried to log in with my username, but I get the message "Please check your internet connection" along with Error Code: EC:10005. My internet connection is stable and working fine with all other apps. When I tried to report the issue from the app, I received another error saying that the error report itself failed with the message: "Your error report encountered an error: we are aware of the excruciating irony of this moment. Bear with us, and try again later." I also reinstalled the app, restarted my Mac 6 times, and restarted my router. HELP please because I'm getting frustrated
