I'm experiencing the same issue! I contacted support and this is what they initially suggested:
- Check if the Add-Ons Are Installed Properly Open the EA app. Go to your Sims 4 game library entry. Click “Manage Add-ons” or “Manage DLC.” Ensure all your purchased packs are marked as “Installed.” If not, click to install them.
- Repair the Game In the EA app, right-click The Sims 4 in your library. Select “Repair.” This will check for missing or corrupted files and redownload them if needed.
- Restart the EA App and Your Computer Sometimes, a simple restart can refresh your add-on entitlements and make missing content appear.
- Clear the EA App Cache In the EA app, go to Help > App Recovery > Clear Cache. Restart the app after clearing.
- Update the Game Make sure The Sims 4 and the EA app are fully updated. Sometimes, missing content is due to outdated game versions.
I had already done all of the above, apart from the repair because I get the error message saying I don't own the title. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and it still isn't working. Their most recent response is:
Thanks , I just checked this and for now I an recoding this for you so that this can be checked by upper management also I would like you to update or upvote(if a similar issue is found) our community forum on this issue. I believe that other players may be having the same problem, so it's best to address it quickly. I suggest recording and sharing the issue on our social media platforms. By cross-checking the issue with other players, we can better determine how many people are affected and whether it's a larger, widespread bug or something localized. We can also gauge the overall sentiment of the players who have experienced this bug, which may be helpful if there's anything we can do on our end to help them until the issue is resolved.
Not much help but at least they're aware there's an issue and will fix it!
