My game (Alice: Madness Returns) won't launch (error message)
Hello, I installed the game "Alice: Madness Returns" but every time I try to launch the game, I get an error message that says that there was a problem with the installation of the game, and that I should re-install the game. I've tried this several times, as well as repairing the game, clearing EA app cache and re-installing the EA app. None of this worked. I've contacted EA help three times now but none of them have been able to help me. Does anyone know how to fix this? For days now, I’ve been reaceiving this error code on my PC. I repaired the EA App, uninstalled and reinstalled it, checked my Norton firewall, reset my router, ran as Administrator and tried other fixes, but the error persists. On Windows 11, if that helps at all. I ran a network test and according to everything my network is fine, so I'm not sure what is causing this issue. I've had an EA account for several years and until the last few weeks, I was able to log in without any problems. A few weeks ago I encountered error code: EC:10001, stating that there was a problem with my account. When I initially reached out to support about it I was told that the issue was probably my network and that it should resolve in a few days, and until then I could use my mobile hot spot to log into my account until the issue resolved itself. It has been weeks since then and I'm still having this issue, even though by all accounts my network is fine. Tonight while trying to log in using my mobile hot spot I encountered error code: EC:10004. Tonight I basically cannot get into my account because my previous issue is unresolved and for some reason now the app is having problems with me using my mobile hot spot. Please help. As it stands right now I can't get into my account on the app and I have no idea what is causing this issue or how to fix it.I am unable to sign in with my home internet
I've been trying to sign into the EA app and was getting an EC 201 error. I've tried reinstall and repair the app but none of that worked. Then I found out that the problem also persists when trying to sign in through the website. As soon as I click sign in, I get a really long loading screen and I eventually reach a generic firefox error screen with a "try again" button. This problem also occurs when I try signing in through my phone. When I'm using mobile data or mobile hotspot, everything works perfectly fine, but hotspot clearly isn't an ideal way to play "online only" games. It all started when I was trying out the new skate game only to run into an 852146987 error. I had the game crash on me around 20 to 30 minutes ago. The screen whited out, and I couldn't close the window, so I shut down my PC. I turned it on again after a minute, waited a bit for everything to start up, then tried to launch Sims 4 again through the EA app. Immediately, the window showed "EA not responding". The EA window then closed itself and, a few moments later, I got the following message on my screen (which I have attached a screenshot of): Unable to start: The EA app is currently not running. Please make sure that the EA app is running before attempting to play The Sims 4. [d3382ced:00000000:00000000:00000000] Is this an error on my end? Could a mod potentially have caused an issue? I have all my Mods through CurseForge and updated them all before launching the game in the first instance, so they are all definitely up to date. After preordering the new pack, when I go to start a new game, I get an error that uninstalled packs are downloading in the background and it crashes the game. I don't have any packs installing in the background. After the game closes, the EA app gives me a message that the new expansion pack will be available on February 12. Aware of this, but can't play with the existing game/packs.'Failed to Launch Game: An Error on Our End' for Multiple Games. Any Fixes?
I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11. What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it? Hi EA :) When I try to open sims, there pops a EA message up on the screen, where I need to write my password. But when I write my password, it declines. Everytime i try and sign in with my apple log in, it will direct me to your website to confirm it is me - and then tells me to go back to the EA app "all good" click the EA app, and it wont let me go further becauase it is saying my IP has changed?? I have spent so much money on my account this is ridiculous.
