FC 27 PS5 – Ground Pass (X Button) Not Working Correctly in Online Matches

I am experiencing a persistent gameplay issue with ground passes using the X button in EA SPORTS FC 27 on PS5.

The issue occurs exclusively in online matches against other players. When I press X to perform a ground pass, the player sometimes does not pass the ball. Instead, the player takes a heavy touch, pushes the ball forward, and starts running with it, as if a different command were being triggered.

The same problem does not occur in Squad Battles or other game modes against AI-controlled opponents, where ground passes work normally.

This makes online matches extremely frustrating and negatively affects my ability to play competitively. I have tried to resolve the issue, but nothing has worked.

Please investigate whether this is a gameplay bug, an online input registration issue, or a problem with the game’s controls.

I would appreciate a proper investigation and a permanent fix.
