The EA App is Stuck On Preparing
Hello, If anyone can help me that would be amazing! 2 days ago (after not playing for months) I tried to open up the Sims 4 in Origin when I saw that I had to switch over to the EA app. When I switched over, everything seemed fine until I saw at the button right corner of the Sims, a grey clock. I changed my wifi connection and then I was able to download it (so I thought). After being stuck on the preparing bar for 15 minutes, I tried clearing the cache, making space on my pc, restating my computer and the ea app, and trying to run it as an admin. Right now, I’m going on 3 hours of it saying preparing and nothing as happened. The Sims 4 (plus some add ons for the game) is the only thing I have. I’ve made sure that my computer hasn’t gone to sleep to see if that was the case and it wasn’t. If anyone could help that would be great. Hi, Whenever I try to install the EA app. It will be downloading for 10 seconds or so, and then it appears "Something went wrong" and I'm unable to install it. It comes up with the error code INST-3-1310 but I've been unable to find any information about this error code online. I used to use EA but one day it just wouldn't launch so I deleted it, and ever since I've unable to re-install it. I've tried running it as administrator, clearing all of the files, reinstalling DirectX but nothing is working. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it!2.4KViews0likes2CommentsEA app randomly starts after properly closing it.
Not wanting to have too many programs running in the background, I close the ones I don't use regularly. The problem is that when I close the EA app, it will without fail start back up some hour(s) later. And it's IMMENSELY annoying me as it just plonks itself on top of whatever it is I'm currently doing! And no, stopping it from starting when I boot the computer doesn't work. Sooner or later it's going to start up anyway. And even if it did work, it'd just solve it until I started the app and then shut it down again after I'm done playing a game. Hello everyone, I come for your help with a rather inconvenient problem. So today i bought to EA store keys, one for each of the SPORE addons, at first both seemed fine, but when i went to download them the Galactic Adventures one was missing, i tried to input the code again but it said that it was already redeemed. Since then, and with the help of customer support, i reinstalled the app, cleared the cashe and nothing. They verified that it is on my account, i just can't acces it through the app, which is strange. Does anybody know anything else i can try?SolvedUrgent: 2FA Codes Not Working for 4 Days
Hello EA Support, I am contacting you regarding an ongoing issue with my EA Account that has prevented me from accessing my account and claiming in-game rewards for the last 4 days. My account is protected by Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), but I am no longer receiving verification codes through any of the available methods. Every attempt to send a code results in an error message stating: “Something went wrong. Try again later.” Due to this issue, I am unable to access important account features and claim rewards that I have legitimately earned, including: XP rewards Season rewards Hero Tokens Other time-limited content These rewards may expire, and I am concerned about losing progress and content because of a technical issue that is completely outside of my control. I kindly request that EA Support urgently review my account and either: Temporarily disable Two-Factor Authentication, or Reset/update my verification method, or Provide an alternative way to verify my identity and regain access. I am fully prepared to verify ownership of the account through any information required, including account details, purchase history, linked platform accounts, or any other verification process. This issue has been ongoing for 4 days, and I would greatly appreciate a prompt resolution before I miss additional rewards and seasonal content. Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, My email : [CM edit - remove personal info]. : My EA Account is linked to my PlayStation/Steam account, and I can still access the platform account, which can be used to help verify my ownership of the EA Account.
