If you ever played any EA titles, you would have had an EA account. It sounds like your platform might be linked to an older account that's become inactive, which would be why it keeps prompting for a password reset.
You would just need to try any other emails you may have used for an account in the past. You should be able to check your connections page here to see which platforms are connected and make sure it's the one you're playing on now.
If that's an older email you can no longer access or you're not sure which one it was connected to, you'll want to reach out to our support team directly so they can help update those account details.
If you create a new case here and select Game Support > EA Account > I want to update my EA Account information or I need help logging in to my EA Account, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can take a look.
