PlayStation account linked to an EA account that isn’t mineCan’t recover access
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice because I’ve been trying to solve this for months without success.
My PlayStation Network account (Online ID: Leoh441) has always been mine and has used the same email address for many years.
When I try to play EA games on my PS5, I get a message saying that my account is banned.
When I try to sign in to EA using my PlayStation account, EA shows an email address that I do not recognize (ja*@groberdomail.com**). I never created or linked an EA account with that email.
I believe my PSN became linked to an EA account that doesn’t belong to me.
I’ve already contacted EA Support several times. They explained that they can’t manually unlink a PlayStation account and that they first need to verify ownership of the linked EA account. The problem is that I don’t own that account, so I can’t verify information that belongs to someone else.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Were you able to recover your account or unlink your PlayStation account?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry you’re dealing with that.
If your PSN is linked to an EA account you don’t recognize, I can understand why that would be really frustrating, especially after already contacting support multiple times.
Unfortunately, linked-account issues like this can’t be fixed from the forums. If the PlayStation account is tied to an EA account you don’t own, support would still need to handle it from the account side. You can also use this webform if needed.
