Steam recovered, wrong EA account still linked
Hey everyone, I'm honestly posting here because I don't know what else to do. A few years ago, my Steam account got hacked while I wasn't really playing games anymore. During that time, whoever had access to my Steam account linked their own EA account to it. I eventually recovered my Steam account through Steam Support, so I'm 100% the rightful owner again. The problem is that my Steam account is still linked to the hacker's EA account, and because of that I can't link my own EA account. I've been going back and forth with EA Support for over a week now, and it feels like I'm just getting the same copy-paste replies. First they told me to contact Steam so they could confirm I was the owner of the Steam account. I did that, got the confirmation from Steam, sent everything to EA... and nothing happened. Then they told me to wait because they couldn't make any changes at the moment. So I waited two weeks, contacted them again, and... same answer. Today I'm still being told to wait because they "can't make changes to an EA account that isn't mine." The thing is... I'm not asking for access to that EA account. I don't care about it. I just want the unauthorized link between my Steam account and the hacker's EA account to be removed so I can finally link my own EA account. To make things even stranger, I installed FC 26 Showcase yesterday and when it tried to connect through Steam, EA's servers were apparently unavailable. It made me wonder if the EA account linked to my Steam has been banned or even deleted. Has anyone actually managed to solve a situation like this? Is there another department I should contact, or am I just stuck getting the same automated replies forever? I'd really appreciate any advice because at this point I'm completely out of ideas.
6 month cooldown on linking Xbox account
A popup appeared when I opened CFB 27 asking me to link my EA account. I accepted and did not realize this was the wrong account. I am now being told I am locked out of my account for 6 months. How is it acceptable to keep purchased content from me for 6 months due to an accidental sign in? I am not the first person with this issue and EA should really do something to fix this. Support won’t even help. 15+ year customer that will never play another EA game again if this is not corrected.
Cant link EA Account to PSN, BF6 not able to play due to account linking
I am not able to Link my account to PSN and hense not able to play BF6. Any help would be appreciated, or is there a link to get a refund on PSN? When trying directly from the PS5 i get the Unable to connect to the EA Servers check internet (Which is working fine), Error code 0:66003S:4688822970:0B2FA codes won’t send to email, but other EA emails send
Long story short, my Xbox gamertag is linked to this account, however I have another ea account which is the one that was approved for the NHL27 . I can’t unlink my Xbox account from this profile because it requires a 2 factor authentication code sent to the email, however when I click to send one, I do not get any emails. However when I contacted support I got that email. I have access to the email on the account but no 2FA emails show up, in any folder. I can’t receive 2 factor authentication codes sent to my accounts email. I can’t change the email without a 2fa code either so im stuck in a loop here. Why am I not receiving 2fa codes to my email?
