Re: All games crash on start, sends back to ea app home screen
found a fix.
Did not even have to Reformat my Drive, reinstall any of my apps & data
or EA app or games this time.
It involves Upgrading Windows, however there is NO reformat involved
and you do not have to boot off a USB or DVD to do it
the whole thing takes almost 2 hours to complete
depending on your net connection for the downloads,
and the speed of your system to do the installs,
to reinstall the EA app and the games take me about 12 + hours
you will have to reinstall Visual C after the Upgrade finishes,
you can get the latest Visual C installers at the following links

Visual Studio 2013 (VC++ 12.0)

to get the "Media Creation Tool 22H2.exe.

Right click the MediaCreationTool22H2.exe and Run as Admin,
Accept licence terms when they come up,
Select "Upgrade this PC now" and click Next
click on
"change what to keep" when the screen comes up,
then select
"keep personal files and apps" then click "next",
so you dont lose your personal files and apps.
now go get a drink and something to eat while Windows installs,
once you are back on your desk top install the Visual C files.
you old Windows install will be saves to the C: drive in a folder called "Windows.old"
and you get a fresh up-to-date Windows 10 install.
