Re: Allied Assault will not launch

If anyone else comes across this problem, I was able to fix this by following a guide from the GOG Version of this game.

Simply download the file and place it in the directory of the game files. You may want to use a fresh install for the game as mine did not work until I did so.

To launch the expansions you have to launch the .exe files manually as there is no way to launch them via the EA Play GUI nor in Game, but at least it works.

There are some graphical issues that I haven't resolved but the game is at least launchable.

    Sometimes you need that older game to get that old-school feels again. Never fun when they don't work for you on newer PCs. I do hope this works for you

    There's still visual issues galore running this title. EA wasn't any help fixing it either. Funny that there's no response until after I fixed it myself.

    i downloaded the file and put it in the installed folder and its still not loading at all i even tried it in windows xp siervice pack 3 mode and im getting nothing

    How about y'all fix the issue, or refund everyone the $20 the spent on a game that doesn't work.
