None of the options you've provided have worked.  No I don't have multiple copies of the game installed,

Yes my OS, the game, video drivers, are all up to date, no my security software is not blocking it, no game mode in windows is not on, no overlays of any kind are in use.  In other words all the ways you've tried to make it look like any other sources problem is already checked. 

I've uninstalled it from Steam where I bought it even manually removed the residual crap you leave on my pc when I removed the EA app as well and just like others at least for me as of this week when I launch it just brings the poorly executed EA app that you forced on all of us and nothing happens.  I have over 244 hours played on this game so I can say with all certainty that it was working fine for me since launch up until this point.  You being EA have done this and need to find a way to fix it.
