Assuming yesterday's reply containing my workaround was shadow banned due to a naughty link. I was able to launch Mass Effect via Origin 10.5.119.52718 by using a Github project. The project can be located with the search 'off_EA_App by p0358'. Page title contains 'Keep using Origin...'. I used the 'Or manually' procedure detailed on the main page. Particular Origin version was procured from Taskinoz via PCGamingWiki's 'Store:Origin' page. HTH someone and makes the saboteurs' lives harder.
