Re: EA app - Friends list loads foever, unable to send invite

a few days ago, we started to have issues with the EA app again - a friend i never had trouble matching with can't find my lobby, nor can i find his. more distressingly, i can't invite from my friends list on the EA app, because it WON'T LOAD. i get a circle "loading" graphic and the list never shows up (picture attached). i tried the Help function for the app/repairing/clearing cache, and it didn't fix it. it sounds like the issues that some other games are having with the EA app not recognizing our friends list for purposes of the lobby/matching.

    i restart my computer every day. i stated in my original post that the first thing i tried was clearing my EA app cache (did you read?) and yes, i tried restarting my router. or rather, i've had a power loss since  this issue first began that did it FOR me. anything else? i see that this was @Fbastos, but they stated they had the same thing happening, so...

    i saw that - but they said they had the same thing happening. this is clearly an EA app issue going on, not a PC thing.

    Most likely. 
    But that doesn't mean you don't need to do basic troubleshooting.
    On the contrary, if you want EA to acknowledge it, you need to do basic troubleshooting to show them that is it not a local problem.

    yes, I restarted my PC and my router. And i clear the app cache today before trying to invite people. Same problem. Nothing changed.

    • EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag):
    • Which platform are you on?
    • If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
    • If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number

    We can use this information, to help make the team aware of the issue and to further investigate.

  • Look... its clearly an issue with your coding, reinstalling and restarting pc/modem is not going to fix this issue. This needs to be passed up the chain. My 4 friends who I play with all have the same issue. Please fix your App. It's been down for two weeks, why am I even paying for the PC game pass, when you can't provide a simple service.

    Hey @Fbastos We are having trouble finding your Error Report, To confirm did you get that after submitting one via the EA app?

    1. Click the menu icon (it looks like 3 horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the app, hover over Help, then click EA Error Reporter.
      • If you’re playing on Mac, go to Help in the task bar and select EA Error Reporter.
    2. Choose the Type of problem you’re having.
    3. Tell us about the issue you’re having in the Description of problem field.
      • If you’re running the EA Error Reporter as part of your EA Help case, include your Case Number in the Support Ticket Number (Optional) field.
      • You can find your Case Number in your cases on EA Help or inside any support emails we sent you about this issue.
    4. Check the box next to By clicking this box, you agree to share diagnostic information with EA.
    5. Click Submit report and wait for it to complete.
    6. Write down your Report ID for safekeeping.
