I would like to hear a more realistic solution, please.
Nobody should have to stop making full use of their PC just to be able to play FIFA, let alone start the EA App.

The issue still persists and is certainly not solved.
It’s really difficult to get anywhere with ea. I did not like origin but I really really miss it. I know this sucks but I appreciate not being the only one this is happening too!
EA app is absolute trash, it keeps crashing on me as well. Origin didn't and that in itself is a statement. Fix this crashing issue on EA app or roll it back to Origin (remember this was a forced installation) if not then provide refund on all affected user accounts software. SHAME ON YOU EA!
