Re: EA App Download Error - There's a Problem With Your Download

i believe this could have something to do with games that were uninstalled and you're now trying to reinstall.

i have the issue with "mad games tycoon" which i had already uninstalled (so the first download was working, yesterday) but wanted to give another try

(too bad the origin app was killed, i used to resolve some similar issue by just downloading the game there)

edit: i've let it rest for ~30 minutes with the app window open (downloads overview page) and randomly clicked on retry.

the red error text still showed but suddenly it showed filesizes and how it progressed the download. it went through and installed properly.

    mine was not a re-install.

    UPDATE: I RE-INSTALLED the EA App and was able to repair my game. Very unintuitive and disturbing when you think your only recourse when things go awry is to repair, but then you can't. Hope this is made better so I won't have to reinstall the app multiple times - that seems not quite right.
