Re: EA App Download Error - There's a Problem With Your Download

I just encountered this issue as well. The posted fix of creating the game folder and adding a fake exe to it did not seem to work for me. Neither did restarting, uninstalling, clearing temp files, or any of the other fixes in this thread. Instead, I don't know if it was by sheer luck or if what I did actually fixed it, but here is what I did.

Click on download game

Browse to installation location instead of using the default location

Select an existing folder for the game or make a new one that is the same as the default parameters

Game downloads and installs with no problems.

This could've been a fluke but this just worked for me with Spore so I figured I'd let everyone know what worked for me.
