I have the same problem. New PC, new Windows, first time EA App (before Origin) and then this.
I installed BF1, BFV and BF2042 ... not sure which one is the problem.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say thanks for providing all the Report IDs and logs so far! I've forwarded them to the EA app team, and they have definitely been really helpful in the investigation.
It's still being looked at but to set some expectations, because of the holidays it might take some time.As soon as we have new information, we will update and let you know in this thread!
-Vendcera- @EA_Vendcera And because of the holidays maybe EA should have waited with FORCING this new EA app on Us right before Christmas, just an idea.
Same issues with Battlefront 2 - launching ea desktop app gives the popup at least 5 instances. I own the main game and the celebration edition addon.
If I rename starwarsbattlefrontii_trial.exe it when launching the game it doesn't allow me to be online and will cause the game to launch by itself constantly.error report id 2e91e377-03f7-4c92-adf9-a22d86b329f8
Same problem here. I have BFV and i get it as a gift.
Now i cant play my games cos those crazy pop-ups.have a look at chronosquirrels temp fix

It too ka couple of clicks to go online but it works for now.- @EA_Vendcera I googled this and it seems like this happens every once in a while. Is there anymore the EA launcher teams can say about this?
Same issue. Just switched from Origin to EA app and this pops up all the time. No idea what game it means. I should never have switched since Origin was WORKING FINE!
Getting the same issue. Tried this method with NFS Unbound, doesn't work.
I uninstalled that EA-App piece of garbage. Origin much better
