Re: EA App INST Errors When Installing

Hi, I'm not sure if your problem still persists but I found a solution for the same error.

I had multiple profiles on the PC and my daughter wanted to install the new EA app while Origin was also installed but neither was it possible to execute the EA App installer (due to the INST-14-5 error) nor to remove manually the Origin app.

The reason for that as it turned out was, that the Origin app was installed from another profile and this app was inherited by the other ones, yet those couldn't remove it due to lack of right.

So I had to log into the profile where the Origin app was installed, run the EA App installer and it did install this time successfully and also removed the Origin app.

Logging back to my daughter's profile than the EA App was also available to her and she was able to logon, launch her games.
