Re: EA app (NOT in Turkey) - Blank/Greyed Out Game Tiles etc. - Since May 22nd, '24

Hello,

I have been advised by EA chat help to post my problem here while they tag my case for the gaming team.  Since May 21st around 9pm I have not been able to access my game library.  Earlier that same day, my games were working fine and I was able to play them.  Nothing has changed on my computer, there is no anti-virus or ad-blocker interfering with the EA app.  There is an error somewhere within the actual EA app the developers need to address as I can see on this forum I am not the only one having this issue.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have cleared my cache, I have run an app recovery, I have run an app repair, and I have logged out and back in.  Additionally, I have opened task manager and ended the tasks for EA background services.  Nothing is working.  The EA app is not functioning like it is supposed to. 

I operate with the most current version of windows and it it up to date as are my drivers.  I have a high end gaming computer, it runs the Sims 4 just fine when the EA app works.

I am in need of assistance as it seems many others are as well.

  • Having the exact same issue.  I am unable to access or install any games in my library.  Their "Cards" won't load and just display blank.  I have followed all the same steps including testing under a new profile entirely.

    Tested on 2nd computer.  Same exact issue.  This has to be an EA service or account problem. 

  • @prixiemuse Same issue is happening for me. I just bought a bunch of kits, too... now I can't access or download them. I made a error report: 1e94ce53-5a46-43be-89c1-6329ef925068. :'(

    I'm having the exact same issue. I can only launch my games by locating their .exe file, which also means I'm not getting any patches or updates to these games since I can't access their "hub"

    @prixiemuse Exactly the same problem here - and I have done also the same things you did, tried everything, nothing worked. I have NO idea what to do now...

    My next step is to sue EA for lack of access to my games

    @prixiemuse Having the same issue as everyone else...EVERYTHING (sorry for the all caps!) is up to date and I have done everything you've done to try and fix the problem. I won't contact support since they don't seem to understand what the issues we ALL are having. I wish they wouldn't have done away with the Origin app...

    so sorry to hear so many people are still having issues with this!! It is so unacceptable that more attention isn't being put towards this.  The adjustment to our household piehold is what fixed it for me.  Really hope this gets addressed soon as people literally have paid games that they can not play.  EA app is horrible, never had this problem with the old one.

  • I am currently experiencing the same thing. I even uninstalled my game. Which now I don't even have an option to reinstall it back now beause of the issues with the app. Does anyone know what EA is doing to fix this issue?
