@AliciaFarkas Try using Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) to remove the EA App. Be sure to download a fresh copy of the App installer.

Thank you so much! I tried your suggestion and the EA app is now working. I still don't understand why this happened, but thankfully the problem has been resolved.
Someone solutionated this issue?
How do I use Revo Uninstaller forced uninstall for the EA app? Mine wouldn't uninstall and wouldn't let me remove all the files by hand (probably has something to do with the EA background services getting stuck on "stopping", so it won't open but also sees it as running still), and the Revo Uninstaller just opens the EA app uninstaller which won't complete the uninstall.
So I have the same issue. I go into my task manager and end task even if its not running. It works for me on Windows 11. Then I can uninstall it. I'm so glad it does because i've had to do this like 7 times now. Ea app is seriously a joke.
