Re: EA App Stuck Cancelling

If you deleted the game rather than unninstalled it properly that could create problems. If there's any of the remnants of the game app on your computer it needs to be uninstalled properly before reinstalling in future. Also if you deleted the files, did you have back ups of your saves and mods and tray folders? If there's a chance they still exist make back ups before doing anything else and if your old game folder exists rename it this will prompt the construction of a new sims 4 folder upon the next time you launch the game. The old and new sims 4 folder will be in your documents. When I need to reset the folders I rename my old one 'sims 4 backup folder 1.' You'll need those 3 saved game files, Saves, mods, tray to resume your game progress. If a game repair wont help at first it will need to be completely unninstalled properly and then reinstalled. This is normally done via the EA app, click on the game and follow the options to unninstall. Once unninstalled can redownload the game via the EA app. Hopefully that will make things work again, once you start again with a fresh install and a fresh sims 4 folder. Once making sure the game is running again place back your backed up saves mods and tray files into the new corresponding folders.
