Re: EA Desktop crashing graphics driver

Hey @AnxientDuc,

Sorry for the late reply, I was on holidays for a while.

Do you still experience issues, even when you have the headphones removed from your monitor? I did see some higher crash rates for the EA app for a specific version of the app, on which version are you?

It's January 2024. The same issue these people encountered 3 years ago with no reply or fix watsoever I am now encountering since yesterday.

First, while playing EAFC24 the game crashed giving me these prompts (attached imagaes) and was not able to get past the loading screen.

Then as I tried to foolishly verify the game files (thinking it was an issue with the game) I realized the EA App was unresponsive. After a few times of closing and reopening the app I realized that it was the EA app that was crashing my graphic drivers.
I then made sure I have everything up to date (drivers, app versions, windows, ecc...), even went as far as reimaging my computer to a previous state from a few days ago but nothing.
Opening the app crashes the drivers to a black screen and unresponsive state as soon as I try to type my password in the login prompt.

Please advise on how to solve the problem (if that is possible on our end).

    Windows 10 Pro (22H2)
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (Driver version 546.65)

  • This happens to me as well in previous 3 weeks...first i thought it's the driver version but it happens on any driver version and only in FC24
