Unable to launch game due to "not owning the game"

Have the same issue. The game says i dont own the game and i cant download it. Had a continues discussion with the EA support giving me advice to even start changing settings in windows to make the game run. Needless to say nothing has worked and I basicly has stoped trying. Although it is completly wrong from EA because I have bought the game and it isnt working. Making this thier problem to solve.

Also I bought the whole series of C&C games as a package and the only game that doesnt seem to be working is RA3.

Have you tried the Help->App Recovery feature?

I have to do this every other day because the app forgets which games I own and which are installed.  It's REALLY annoying.

I have same issue with Mirror's Edge. Even do App Recovery I can't install game.😡 Game was registered by package CD-Key.

Yup, tried that as well. EA just straight up making your games not work anymore is a disgrace tbh.

I have the same issue with Red Alert 3. I tried to reinstall the game from DVD and that was unsuccessful. When I tried to install it from the app again the said it needed to be updated. At that point it displayed the DVD key which was exactly the key for my copy. After selectin update the app indicated that I did not own the software. Which I obviously do. EA you need to fix this. Fix the app so that it recognizes that the game is owned.

Yeah this is complete crap and illegal by EA. Who have always hated gamers after the 2010s, plus even more after the china company Tencent bought into EA. I still have my game key from my purchase. Let see how much support wants to try and deny my purchase.
