Hey @vokul4,

We do not recommend manually trying to force-change the installation directory of the EA app, as the EA app doesn't officially support this feature.

If you are trying to force-change the installation directory of the EA app, it is possible that this causes issues in the future.

...better a EAapp with problems, then no EAapp.

You do not have the authority to decide where I can or cannot install stuff, believe it or not there are people that have dedicated disks for gaming and yours ruin everything. You guys should've just kept Origin online.

@EA_Leeuwwow - didn´t i read that the ea-team is aware of this problem anywhere here? If this is how the EA app is supposed to work, then it's really an indictment. And not a word about it in the threads, no resolution. Sad.
it´s not a bug, it´s a feature ^^

At the moment, it is indeed working as intended that you can't install the EA app in a different location.

But we thank you for the feedback! The EA app dev teams are aware of this.
