@sejekat42  Try doing a clean uninstall and reinstall of the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine).  Use the Intensive scanning method when asked.  Restart your computer before reinstalling the App, and run the App itself as an administrator: right-click the desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."

If that doesn't help, are you able to test with a different network?  For example, if your computer supports wifi, you could set your phone as a mobile hotspot, using data rather than your home wifi.

    No good ...

    "fun fact" myu sister can log in at EA at the same setup and play sims4 just fine, whereas my credentials give the problerm/message stated.

    @sejekat42  Are you saying your sister can login to her EA account on this same computer and play Sims 4?  Or are you saying something else?  The first would make it pretty clear that the issue is your account.
