Re: Error INST-3-2203

Look into the EventViewer app for Windows Logs -> Application.

I had a log:

Product: EA app -- The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2203. The arguments are: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\inprogressinstallinfo.ipi, -2147287008,

I looked into 2203 install errors on Windows, https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-10-11-installer-encountered-unexpected-error-2203/

I made some temporary user permission changes to C:/WINDOWS/Temp and then the installer was able to run.

This is possibly an error specific to your machine, not with the EA App.

I've changed all of the permissions, disabled virus protections and I am still getting the same error.

maybe it's late, but for everyone who ran into the same issue, i assure you I lost it too. This was the fix i used: Run CMD as Admin, then paste 1): sfc /scannow 2): DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth As well as the things said in the link you can find on top of this forum. I really hope you find your fix, cause EA literally is bull**bleep** and doesn't even have a support team anymore.
