It isn’t any of the issues you mention. It’s a bug that a simple game repair in EA App fixes as per the solution on page 1. Mac users do not update video card drivers in the same way as Windows users, please do not confuse the two operating systems.

For reference, Boot Camp is not an option for ARM Macs and gaming through a VM is a pretty poor experience..
