Summarize your bug Cannot launch Sims 4. Claims there is a connection issue and to try again later, every single time.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Every time I launch the game from the app or desktop. Same message either way.
What happens when the bug occurs? "Failed to launch game Double-check your connection, or try again later"
What do you expect to see? The game I've sunk a ton of time and money into actually loading up in a playable state.

So I first encountered this about three days ago. Tried to submit a but report but it forced me through the automated system and declared it fixed. Which would have been funny if it wasn't so infuriating. Especially when I then got a follow up email yesterday asking me to rate how well my problem was dealt with. I've tried adding my error report number to a few other threads of people having the same issue but never saw anyone reply with anything that worked for me. When it first happened I tried repairing my Sims 4 and the EA App first. Then uninstalling both. Reinstalled both fresh but saw that there might have been some files related to Sims 4 that didnt get deleted so I used Revo Uninstaller to try and clean up everything I might have missed the first time around. Tried launching it with all my packs and with just the base game, nothing has made the slightest bit of difference. I cannot play the game at all and Im just getting so fed up with it. I dont understand how Im able to play for years on an app like Origin, every time a new expansion came out Id buy it and jump back in for a while. Then EA App comes along and now I dont have access to a product Ive paid for and played for years. Its just exhausting.
