RESOLVED Outage Apr. 30 - May 1, 2024. "You Don't Have Access" Error in EA app.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your reports.
Our teams have shared that the services are showing signs of recovery. This should mean that the "You don't have access" error when trying to launch games through EA Play (Pro) for PC EA app, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate x EA Play (XGPU), or games bought via PC EA app, Steam, or Epic, has been fixed.
Could you please try logging out of the EA app and Xbox app for PC, closing it, then logging back in to see if the games appear and launch without errors? If not, give an EA app App Recovery (đ it's a hyperlink) a shot and try again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you.

I own the game through Steam
I play on PC, Windows 11
Noticed the error 2nd May 2024, 10.30pm GMT
EA App version: 13.188.0.5701 (82543-094e4ca80c)
still saying i down my game today lol
It's still not fixed for me. I logged in and out of both apps, but that didn't change anything.
I'm using Windows 11. The first time I noticed the problem was on May 1st. My EA App version is 13.188.0.5701.
My EA App Error Reporter ID is 58e39153-743c-4c55-ab07-e30c665f496c.
I have tried reinstalling the EA.
Repairing the App and deleting cache.
I have also had a chat with EA support and the person who assisted me told me to create a new topic.
I have also tried relinking my steam ID.
In the past I have played it through my steam account and I have around 10 hours in game according to steam. I don't know what changed and why I cannot see it in my EA library anymoreI got the game DA:I on Epic Games, played it a while (around 8 hours), tried to open it later, then got an error saying "You don't have access to the game.". Tried the Cache clear, doesn't work. For some reason, the EA app removed all the titles I have: Sims, Apex and DA:I, but DA:I is nowhere to be seen on the EA app. Also, I'm the only one who uses the PC with the account.

game is back (for now) Let us hope that everything is now fixed
- @Cykosis101 I only have 3 Drives, One SSD for OS and 2 HDD
I claimed Dragon Age: Inquisition from the Epic Games store 2 days ago. I played the game fine yesterday, but when I tried to start it up today it gave me the notification that the game had been removed from my library for "an unlisted reason." I have tried restarting the EA launcher and also tried app recovery. Neither fixed the problem. I do not use VPN, nor am I aware of any changes to my computer since like 8 hours ago. What can I do to fix this?
@EA_Shepard @EA_Pulsar Hi so i've been playing my gifted Dragon age 2 for some time, then today i want to do and I'm mad >: Why has everything been removed from my library??
see my screenshot, the dlcs all gone too how can it be??
i mean i only uninstalled inquisition, i didn't uninstall this! And cannot even open the main game this sucks >âšī¸(( What the hell is wrong with this * app?! often having such buggy issues, just as i want to play!
Can u quickly fix this issue? just recently some people have many of their games removed too! on the main thread https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/EA-app-says-that-a-game-has-been-removed-from-my-library/m-p/13742626#M10642 People who also get this error, can u hurry up and fix??!
I downloaded both the luxury party stuff pack and the fashion street kit when they were both offered by EA for free. I was playing the sims 4 perfectly fine yesterday with both of these packs installed. Today I open my game and it says I no longer own these packs. It also says I have to buy them otherwise all my saves could become corrupt. There is not an option to download them again unless I purchase them. Why is this happening? Was it only a trial where they only let people have the packs for a limited amount of time as "free" and now we have to pay for them???
I played it for more than 20 hours. But then, suddenly when I tried to open it today, I saw that error message. What the heck just happened?
I have this exact same issue as well. Was able to play it yesterday without problems
My case number was #178851573 if that helps
Same deal. Had to fiddle around with some account linking junk last week to get it to download after I got it from Epic. Played 8 hours, yet when I try to play it today it says I'm not authorised...
I starting to remember why I don't play EA games...
Cannot login to Battlefield 1 anymore.
Hi guys, I have recently encountered a problem wherein battlefield 1 (Which I bought from STEAM and was working perfectly for weeks) have suddenly stopped working. I uninstalled and re-installed the Application. I have tried verifying integrity of files. All of this, to no avail.
Same here.... ever since it was announced they are giving Dragon age inquisition for free. i hurried my * to download it and play immediately. got 47hours of gameplay.. this morning i want to finish it and bam.. removed for unlisted reason Case #178851890 Please help...
Same happened for me. I've spent an evening to configure that EA linking to epic. Then I've spent an evening to download. Played one evening and see that message. What's the reason to do such twists?
Is it telling you that you need to input a CD key to actually play the game and you can't find the key? If so, I already contacted support about this literally 15 minutes ago. Supposedly this is a known problem that is happening right now with older EA titles. There isn't a time frame for when it will be fixed, but they're working on it.
EDIT: Didn't notice the image attachment, that seems like a completely new issue, sorry I can't be of much help here.
How/ Where to see the Case # [numbers]? just asking. New User in this Forum for I also encounter this error
Hello,
yesterday I installed and played the game. But when I started it today it said my Game Pass expired (which isn't true). So I uninstalled the game but when I click on "install" in the Xbox App it forwards me to the store page in the EA App where I can only buy the game.
Another strange thing is that I have a message in my EA Library that my Epic Subscription has expired an Aveum was removed due to that. I don't know what Epic has to do with it.
- @0tahsinttalha No clue; I just played the game yesterday, that total is up to 8 hours. Also, I got to play the game this morning, then after I took a break and tried to relaunch it, the game was gone.
You have to create a case on https://help.ea.com/en/help-home/ .
I just got the same issue and already reported.
I just found out in some reddit posts that one user lost all his games, like Titanfall 2 sims. Not just DA:I. Maybe there's a problem on the EA server or something.
Got Xbox Game Pass but no EA Play, still working last night but now it doesn't. And this is not the first time it happen in a month.
