The launcher is dowloading the update and when you go offline, it continue so the game can't still be launched. So you need to update the game or stop the download before going offline.

I turned off the automatic download of new udpates long time ago, you're telling me the app downloads them anyway?
By the way I had the same issue with 1.106.148.1030 update (I had to update to make the offline mode work). Going to check with the newest one how it goes.
