GAME LAUNCHES PERFECT FROM STEAM

VERSION: Polish / Czech / Russian

APP: EA APP

I have installed The Sims 4 after a long time of not playing. Unfortunately, the game won't launch.

Steps I have taken:

1. Reinstalling EA APP and The Sims 4.

2. All this playing with launching as administrator, trying to start from new administrator account.

3.I have contacted EA support 4 times and every time we have just repeated the same set of steps and it still doesn't work.

4.Installing all the updates for GPU, Windows.

5. Clearing Cache, doing EARecovery.

6. Turning off all of the processes in the background.

7. Tried to run it on a second computer, but the same error occurs.

8. I've also checked, if new file is created in the Documents, when I launch the game. But no, when I try to launch the game, no new file is created in the documents, which gives me the conclusion, that the launching proccess can't even slightly run the beginning processes of the game. 

9. I've installed Apex through the EA APP and that works fine. 

10. Clear boot also doesn't work.

11. Installing with and without DLC.

12. All the other games on other platforms work just fine: RDR2, GTAV, CIV IV.

Please help. I have spent a lot of money on their game and right now I've got the feeling of being ripped off of it.

I have found some solution, but I can't imagine that EA will not fix that and we will have to do everything by our own.

If you have this issue do this steps:

1. Uninstall The Sims 4 from EA APP

2. Connect EA APP with Steam.

3. Download Free version of The Sims 4 from Steam.

4. Now Turn the game once through steam. Right now EA APP should see your game as installed.

5. If you have DLC, now you have to download one by one in EA APP.

6. Happy Ending and everything work smoothly.

And here is something from me, because I was dealing with this sh*t for three days to fix this for my girlfriend:

EA Support was telling me that it has to be something on my side and with my computer. And arguments that the game works fine on steam was complete out of their imagination.

If not the other players from other threads and their idead, I would still be unable to play this game.
