Re: "low on disk space" or "out of disk space" (EC:10602) error in EA app

I had this issue and managed to solve it.

After trying everything including creating a new Windows profile which worked but not an ideal solution, I went back to my main profile and started getting an new error message from Origin when trying to run the game about not having enough space. I checked all of my drives and all of my SSD's and my HDD had plenty of space. I did notice that one of my usb drives was showing 0 bytes. I think it has failed. I unplugged the device and reran the game and both the "not enough space" and my saving issue went away.

I'm guessing that when the program looks for a place to save, it might have been getting hung up on the failed drive. Why it was even looking at the drive is unknown as it USB device didn't have anything on it. It was just used for storage.

EA might want to look into that.

    Hi.

Im having the same problem when I want to play FC 24.

I've tried everything you said and more, and it didn't work.

I tried launching other heavier games like Star Wars Jedi Survivor and it worked, but FC24 didn't.

I tried deleting things in the disk (I have 400GB free)

I tried repairing both the game and EA app.

I tried a clean restart of the computer.

I tried changing the instalation folders.

    Nothing worked

  • I’ve dug through here and can’t find a solution. Their “marked” solution is for you to upload your computer diagnostics. I have like 80g free space and can’t download a 2mb update on apex right now lol.

  • @Mixelinho See below. And every time I try to resume the download my “available space” they have listed is different.
  • Guys, I think I have discovered a possible solution, or maybe the origin of the failure.

I have 2 computers. When i bought the game, I played it well. It was when I tried to play in the other computer when I started with this error.

So some minutes ago I thought that it could be a problem with the data saved on the cloud.

I have tried to launch the game after setting de EA App in offline mode and... it worked.

The game opened (although i couldn't use the online features, of course)

So I closed it and set EA App to online mode. A new tab appeared telling me that I had to choose between the local saved data or the one in the cloud.

If I choose the cloud data, the error 10602 appears, but if I choose the local data, it works.

So it seems to be a problem with the data saved on the cloud.
