Re: Oof, Something Exploded

I'm having the exact same issue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop app, just to see if it was the installation process. I've also gone back and redownloaded it from the link I was sent to see if it was an issue with the initial download of the .exe file. The same result occurred. In order to even get out of the loop I have to use task manager and force quit the application.

    @Straatford87 Thank you, I did try and uninstall both Origin and reinstall the EA Desktop, but still had the error so uninstalled it and reinstalled my Origin, will keep an eye on this thread if it can be resolved then try the Ea desktop again 😉 Thank you

    The EA Desktop does the same thing but then I got it working and then I tried logging out and back in and the screen returned as of today's update. 

    Also, WHERE's my Desktop Shortcuts... I pay for my shortcuts. I want my shortcuts.

    @Straatford87 i have the games from xbox live (on pc) and now because i need ea desktop to play the game it wont let me is there a way to fix this

  • @tvisee l have exactly this problem too, it worked fine 2 days before but yesterday it started doing that and l've tried uninstalling reinstalling restarting... If l go to origin, it needs me to buy the game to play (sims 4)
