Re: Purchased game/DLC available on Origin but not the EA app

@EA_Jason Do we have an update on this? It's November 8th, and I'd really prefer to use the EA Desktop app. Listen, I recognize that this is a beta app, but it seems to me like you guys are having a server query issue here when it comes to games from other sources that need to be directly launched by Origin(you buy the game on a separate platform, OriginThinSetup launches it). I attached two images here - my EA library according to Origin(see attached file titled "Origin Library"), and my EA library according to the Desktop App. None of the Steam games actually show up on the Desktop app - I'm willing to bet your server populating the "Account has these games" for the Desktop App isn't able to cross-reference Steam Library games or pre-ordered games through third parties. I preordered BF2042 through a third-party(GreenManGaming, with whom I believe you guys have a partnership with), which gave me a code to put in on the EA website - so I assume it basically bought the game as a gift code through a software chain on the EA website/back-end.

Dunno what it actually looks like on the back-end, but I would ask your software engineers to take a look at the query/response of "EA Desktop App is requesting list of X account's games", see what it comes up with vs. what it should come up with. Troubleshooting can commence from there.
