Re: Purchased game/DLC available on Origin but not the EA app

It is indeed known that for some players not every Origin owned game is showing up in the EA app. We have an existing master thread about this as well, I merged your post with the thread just now. 🙂

In the My Collection section of the EA app, if you scroll down to the bottom, there's also a disclaimer that addresses the EA app missing games.

Regarding Steam purchased games not available via the EA app; this is indeed working as intended, for now at least. This is because the EA app at the moment doesn't support the Steam integration that the Origin app has with Steam. If you've purchased an EA game via Steam, you indeed need to have Origin installed & launched in order to play the game. This unfortunately does not work with the EA app at the moment.

Is this Steam issue also applicable to games purchased from Epic Games Store?
* Star wars Battlefront 2 was purchased from EGS and does not show up in EA while it does in origin.
- All the following games were obtained from discs purchased from either thrift stores or Walmart.
* Sim city 2000 special edition and Sims 4 Limited edition, Sims 4 Life of the Party Digital Content do show up in both. Good Job.
* The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, The Sims 3, The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack Show in Origin not EA.
* The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack actually shows 3 separate times in Origin twice unlocked and view details. Once download.
I'm only concerned purchased content will not remain purchased and something will be lost.
Is there an ETA on finishing this long migration to the new application?
I want to congratulate the amazing work on EA Beta it is an essential upgrade from Origin and I hope to see more good things become of the program.
P.S. The new app in contrast to Origin already makes me excited to buy DLC, at least 3 games, and is providing peace of mind in keeping these purchases IF purchased.

Yes! The Steam and Epic Game Store integration doesn't work with the EA app at this moment. It indeed only works with Origin. 🙂
