Hi @crazysnipercatt0, @SargeCassidy, did you buy these games on Origin or was this from steam?
/Atic - SargeCassidy4 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Atic I redeemed a key for Bulletstorm on Origin and was given a Origin copy, I have no problem playing Bulletstorm when installed through Origin (and is still playable after updating to the EA app). I'd just like Bulletstorm to show up in my EA app library, that's all.

Understandable. What edition of Bulletstorm is it? Will poke the team on it and see what the story is whit that game. @SargeCassidy
/Atic - SargeCassidy4 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Atic AFAIK, it's not the Limited Edition. I was given the key by someone, don't know its' origin (though I suppose it was a retail copy, as the same key I redeemed on Origin was also the GFWL key to use in-game).

@SargeCassidy Do you see Bulletsorm as owned if you look it up in store or does it say you need to buy it?
/Atic - SargeCassidy4 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Atic I can't check the store, because the original Bulletstorm was delisted when Full Clip Edition (AKA remaster) came out.

@crazysnipercatt0 At the moment EA games owned on Steam or Epic are not yet integrated with the EA app. You won't see that content available to you in the EA app just yet.
For more info here.
@SargeCassidy we are still selling bulletstorm on EA app.

@EA_AticThat's the LITE version (the singleplayer portion of the remaster, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition), which released in 2018. It is purchase-able and visible in the EA app, yes.
What I meant was the original, GFWL-using Bulletstorm that released in 2011. That one is not purchaseable or visible in the EA app. - godkiller19824 years agoSeasoned Rookie
It's exactly the same for me, Bulletstorm (the original, 2011 GFWL game) is not visible in the EA App, but it IS in Origin, for almost one decade by now. I used a retail code to add the game to Origin in 2014, no steam, no epic. And I even purchased a 2nd key today and activated it directly in the EA App, which "told me" the activation would have been successful - but the game did not show up in my library. Funnily, Origin now displays the new key, so the activation actually has been successful, it's simply the EA App not being capable to correctly read the corresponding entitlement - for reasons unknown to me. I contacted EA support one hour ago, and the first advisor seriously tried to tell me the issue would be "game-related", while the second one let me know that "there's nothing [he] could do for [me]".
-- edit --
I just checked the EA App logs a bit and found the following part in "C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop\Logs\EABackgroundService.log":
ERROR (eax::domain::model::content::EntitlementStore::getBaseSlug) Unable to locate base slug for Entitlement [OFB-EAST:54866]
INFO (eax::Services::gameManagement::readManifestFile) Reading manifest file: [T:\Games\Origin\Bulletstorm\__Installer\installerdata.xml]
WARN (eax::components::contentInstall::fillCatalogLocalUninstall) Uninstall path for offerId=[OFB-EAST:54866] is empty. Now I know for sure that the offerId [OFB-EAST:54866] corresponds to Bulletstorm, but I've no idea what "base slug" means in the context of EA entitlements.

Hi @godkiller1982, @SargeCassidy, poked the team on it, they are investigating it, thanks for the added information!
/Atic - SargeCassidy4 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Atic Funnily enough, your last message made me search "Bulletstorm" on the EA app and I found out something even better:
Neither the original 2011 Bulletstorm nor the 2017 remaster Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition are not listed in the app, it's just LITE showing up! - godkiller19824 years agoSeasoned Rookie
@EA_Atic Thank you very much for informing the "men in charge" about this issue! As long as Origin remains functional, the status quo is fine, but once it becomes fully disfunctional the replacement App simply has to provide us paying customers access to Bulletstorm, any other outcome would be inacceptable in my honest opinion - esp. because it is still my favorite EA game. 😉 Thanks again!
@SargeCassidy According to pcgamingwiki, the actual "Full Clip Edition" has never been sold on Origin, only the "LITE" version.
- SargeCassidy4 years agoSeasoned Traveler@godkiller1982 Oh yeah, I forgot about FCE not being sold on Origin before (kinda weird anyway, isn't it?).

Hooray! Bulletstorm just miraculously appeared in my EA App library. It lacks a library picture and has no dedicated information page (which was to expect given that the game got released at a point in time where EA had no digital storefront at all, and that it got delisted years ago already), but it is downloadable and playable perfectly fine! Call me nuts, but I'm sincerely relieved and happy, this instantly made my day! 🥳
I want to thank @EA_Atic yet another time at this point for having been a great help (not only) in this topic, and I really hope that the game will show up for all other legit owners as well!
P.S. I did not perform any "special" actions on Origin, the EA App, their cache folders or registry data, I simply fired up the EA App one hour ago and found a new, black title in my library, labeled "Bulletstorm Limited Edition". After having successfully downloaded and tested the game I instantly came here to post the great news. Here's a picture as proof that I'm not trolling:
- SargeCassidy4 years agoSeasoned Traveler@godkiller1982 Can confirm I have the entry too, also missing the picture and a storepage, but installs and plays fine! Much thanks, @EA_Atic :D

- @EA_Atic For me original Bulletstorm from 2011 is still missing.
Also another game is missing from my library: The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king. As of 2022/11/13:
All mine transferred from Origin to EA App except Battlefield V and Battlefield 1, which are of course the ones I play the most.
Not only do they fail to transfer, I cannot download them either ("please try again later" for weeks now).
EA App is not at all ready.
Also of high annoyance is that installation of EA App automatically deletes your Origin. So to get anything working you have to find Origin and reinstall it.
For me, it's the Sims 3: Supernatural.
I own it, EA! It's right there, downloaded on my computer! Stop pretending it's not!
- @HunkaBurninL0ve UPDATE: Actually it isn't the Download that's failing. EA App cannot even add BFV or BF1 to my Collection. I've added other games successfully so I suspect that the fact they exist under Origin is actually preventing them from being added to EA App.
