Re: [Resolved] Unable to launch The Sims 4 in EA App after moving from Origin

Hey all, 

This issue had a fix released on the backend last night that resolves the specific issue that was occurring for players who could no longer launch The Sims 4 after moving from Origin to the EA app. 

At this time if you cannot launch The Sims 4 on EA app, please fully exit the app by ending the EA and EA Background Service processes in the task manager, then relaunch the EA app and try again. If you still cannot launch The Sims 4 please run an EA Error Report and provide the Report ID in a new thread

    Hi @Upperplaygiirl,

    Were you able to play on EA app before the update? Or did you just update from Origin to the EA app today?
  • Hi, I've been experiencing this problem for about two weeks now. I can launch the game but it immediately throws me out and repearing or re-installing doesn't help.

    Im having this issue but your solution did not work for me. I have played on the ea app before.  Ive tried reinstalling the game, repairing the app, reinstalling th app, clearing cache. Nithing works

    Same here and it's been fine since this afternoon. Now none of my games will lauch and this has not fixed it.
