Re: Sims 4 - Game License Invalid

So, I recently tried to play Sims 4 again after a 2-year break (laptop wasn't working, it magically turned on again a few days ago). When I tried launching the game, after freshly downloading EA as I still had the origin stuff, and updating the game, it told me there was an error in verifying the game license, and to try it while being online (which I always am, I checked). Trying to launch from the shortcut, it tells me the Game license is expired. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the EA app, repaired both, cleared the cache, changed my EA password, literally everything. What do I do? I submitted a couple of reports but haven't gotten a single reply. I am so frustrated and at a complete loss.
