I have the same issue and got that message as well. I have been trying to fix it for the past hour, just in case the problem is on my end after all, but none of it worked.
it says the same for me too! removing my mods folder helped start the game, but i wanted to play with mods so i went through EVERY cc and mod i had but found nothing broken im so confused.
